ARIEL'S POV
As I walked through the wrought iron gates of the cemetery, my heart felt heavy, burdened by the weight of grief that had become a constant companion since Luke left us.
Luke's hand clasped mine tightly, offering silent support as we navigated the rows of headstones and monuments, each one a reminder of the finality of death.
The air was still, with only the distant sound of birdsong breaking the silence. The sky above was a canvas of soft pastel hues, casting a gentle light over the somber landscape below. Tall oak trees stood sentinel, their branches reaching towards the heavens as if in supplication.
