Nick's POV Why did I have to intervene? Why couldn't I have just ignored them and walked away? So many things were going through my head and not one of them were good. I was going out of my mind. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw Marie begging for her life, begging not to be violated and each time I woke up I hoped it had been a dream, yet I knew it wasn't. I don't know how many hours it's been since that bastard took my wife's life destroying me in the process, but it felt like days. Jason's Beta, Roger came by earlier and took Marie's body away, she had been left cuffed to her chair for me to look at in the hopes I too would beg for my life. As broken as I was there was no way in hell, I was giving him that satisfaction. I was snapped out of my thoughts as the door opened and the bright ceiling lights were turned on, being as there were no windows in this room, I had no idea what time of day it was. My eyes were swollen and stung from all the crying I had done over the sight of Mari
