Upon hearing this, Damien and Melinda exchanged worried glances.
They had heard that Declan had an arrogant personality and considered himself superior. But they hadn't expected him to be so openly contemptuous.
"Mr. Marsh—" Damien wanted to intervene.
But Icarus spoke up first. "What information do you have? I didn't say I'd definitely buy it."
Declan sneered, "If it's something you want, I have it."
"Oh? Tell me then, do you have information on the Divine Scriptures lost three thousand years ago? Or the Black Tomb Sect that disappeared two thousand years ago?" Icarus asked calmly.
Declan's expression changed slightly. The Divine Scriptures and the Black Tomb Sect were unfamiliar to him, and he had no information about them.
"Do you think you can impress me by making up a few terms? You're just an ignorant brat! Who in all of Riverton doesn't know that I hold the most information? Even those renowned martial arts grandmasters treat me with respect and call me 'Mr. Marsh'!" Decl
