Chapter 7

He tasted her like he had found the forbidden fruit. He couldn't get enough of it. This was also her first kiss in both her lifetimes. Julia came back to her senses. She stretched out her hand to push him away, but he wouldn't move an inch. She was now a Second Level in the Condensed Body Realm, she should be stronger now, but he wouldn't budge. In an instant, with the swift rustling of flowers and grass, the two of them switched places and now Julia was the one on the ground. William held her hands down and he became even bolder with his kiss. She saw his pair of amethyst eyes, they were getting deeper and more dangerous as seconds passed by. At the moment, Ian was also speechless. He looked away and closed his eyes, he was standing still like a statue. He never would've thought that his master would be such a passionate lover. He honestly didn't know how to react, so he decided to ignore them. After a long period of time, William finally let go of her lips to catch some air. Julia's ears went hot as soon as she saw his throat roll over. "You are shameless!" William's fingertips wiped the remaining blood off her lips, he then replied hoarsely, "My blood is poisonous. If you swallowed it, you would've died." Julia was unsure if he was telling the truth or not. Was it really the case? If so, then why did it take so long for him to tell her? "You could have told me! I would've rinsed my mouth and… and…" Julia really wanted to cry. She bit him until he bled out and now her first kiss was stolen away from her. "There is only one antidote." "Oh, no…" "Oh, yes, that was the only way I could cure you. I will admit, that was my first time and I am not proficient, I apologize if I made you uncomfortable. Could I practice with you for a little while longer?" His voice was full of charm and allure, despite his words being so humble. The ambiguity in his last question made her heart skip a beat once more. She was right to call him a demon, he was stealing her heart away right this second. Ian wanted to stop thinking at this point. Did his master really use his charms to defuse Julia's anger? His master's blood was indeed poisonous and had mysterious powers. Anyone who drank it definitely would've died. But this manner of death was rare, and even if someone were to die because of it, he wouldn't care one bit. However, Julia's life was at stake, he needed to give her the antidote to his blood. Ian had a small thought at the back of his head. He only needed to give her a small amount of his saliva to cure her, he felt that his master was just taking advantage of his poisoned blood to get closer to his fiancée. Julia was bewildered and his charm worked its magic on her. She then replied, "It's also my first time, so we're even! But don't come to me for practice. There are many women in the world who are willing to do that with you!" "I also misunderstood you because of the pill. I'm sorry for biting you," Julia apologized frankly for her actions. William nodded slightly and said, "I accept your apology." If others dared to hurt him like this, they would've died a long time ago, but he was reluctant to kill the little fox. Ian grabbed a wheelchair from nearby and he said with urgency and respect "Master, please sit down." William let go of Julia, he walked over normally and he sat down on the wheelchair. "You can walk normally. Why do you need a wheelchair?" Julia felt like this man was nothing but lies. "I felt a lot better when you got close to me, as if I was never ill in the first place. Sadly, the effect doesn't seem to last long, but maybe you can help me get out of this god-forsaken chair." His amethyst eyes looked at Julia intently, with a look of innocent hope. "You're just lying to me again." Julia had forgiven him but she was still a little angry. "Julia, come here for a moment," William beckoned her. "What do you mean come here for a moment? I need to take this pill back to the Chu family house." Her mother has been ill for so many days. She was still asleep when she went to the competition, she hoped that nothing bad happened to her while she was away. She had the medicine in hand, all she needed to do was take it back to her mother and her promise would be kept. "If the king catches you, I won't be able to protect you." His eyes looked at her with annoyance. "I'll be back right away!" Julia said as she walked past him. She didn't expect William to make a surprisingly swift move. He forcibly pulled her into his arms and sat down. Julia was surprised. "What are you doing?" "It's better to do this now than later. Just trust me." He took out the white jade from his pocket. He held her tightly so she wouldn't run away, he held the white jade in his hands and pressed it against her forehead. "What are you doing?" Ian was also surprised. "Master, are you…" Julia saw the piece of white jade glow with a white light, spirit energy untangled the various carvings and enlarged them. They were floating in the air for a few seconds, but then they suddenly entered into Julia's mind. William, the enchanting demon, really had the power of foresight. A large amount of chaotic knowledge directly entered her mind. If he didn't hold her tightly she would've fallen down again. The spirit energy that entered her mind was just a deafening ringing at first. But soon, words started appearing within her mind and soon after that she could comprehend what she was hearing. The Eyes of Immortality. Eternal immortality, eternal destiny, the eyes control the world, the universe and the heavens. Her eyes weren't just the result of some crazy experiment or talent in spiritual cultivation, they were the key to immortality. She suspected that William knew the secret of her eyes, but she simply concluded that it was just her mind playing tricks on her. She didn't know that William had already figured it out ever since the competition. The white jade continued to tell her more about the Eyes of Immortality. The Eyes of Immortality has nine realms instead of levels, the realms correspond to a specific technique and a level. The first realm was called "Insight" Within the first realm, everything moved slower in the eyes of the cultivator. Specific weak spots within attacks and special details within magical objects could be seen. Julia finally broke free from William's embrace, and she stared at him blankly. She really couldn't understand this man. "I guess you're right, my eyes are precious. Is this why you gave the pill to me?" She had never heard of any Eyes of Immortality in her past life, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that if such a power existed then the world's most powerful men and women will chase after her and take it for themselves. Judging from the name these eyes could give anyone immortality, but who needs such a thing? The first realm of the Eyes of Immortality would allow even the weakest of spiritual cultivators to win any fight. William replied, "Your eyes look at mine like they are the most precious thing in the world, I couldn't possibly take them away from you. Besides, I am a dying man, those eyes are useless with me." "Dying man? But you look perfectly healthy?" Julia muttered to herself. But as soon as she said those words, William's face turned pale as if he had died a long time ago and his perfect lips developed a dark purple hue.
