I felt like I was about to lose my mind. How could I listen to Cristin's advice? All I could think about was how to save my brother. Whether it was a trap or not, I have to try and help him no matter what.
However, Cristin was determined to fight against me, "I will never let you go and risk yourself!"
She opened her hands and stood in front of me, her expression and tone were firmer than ever before. So in desperation, I drew out the sword from her body, pointed the tip at her, gritted my teeth and said, "Step aside!"
"No," Cristin spoke affirmatively as she stared at me without squinting. "If my lady insists on going, you would have to go over my dead body!"
