Chapter 58: Ground zero again

Diana "Wakey wakey, little omega." I was shaken awake so harshly my shoulder nearly dislocated. I was pulled stoutly outside the van and left to fall on the floor. "Get up and walk. Riley's not here, but I'm sure when he gets here, he's going to have your head," the young rogue with the yellow teeth said to me. "Yeah, forget about Riley. Have you ever remembered to pick up a toothbrush?" I asked him as I grimaced. His smirk fell from his face as he suddenly raised his hand and struck me in the face. "Ah!" I screamed as I grabbed the side of my face and massaged it. Rosie stepped around from the side of the van, looked at me, and then simply rolled her eyes. "Nobody's going to pick you up. You're no princess; you're hardly an alpha. Your mate is dead. Otherwise, if you were alive, I'm sure he would have found you by now. Or if not him, then he should have sent someone to get you. Or maybe he simply doesn't care," she said dismissively. "I wouldn't care if I had to lose my mate.
