I scrambled to my feet and pushed myself before I started running again. Instantly, my head was pulled back so tight I was slammed back into the floor again.
"Ah!" I screamed at the top of my lungs when my mouth was suddenly covered. She began dragging me by my hair and pulling me across the street, causing many humans who saw us to gasp and begin running away.
"Help!" I screamed, but no one turned to me. Instead, they turned away from the rabid woman who was grabbing my hair
. "Do you have any idea how hard we looked for you?" she yelled over and over again.
"Stop!" The sound was accompanied by a gunshot, causing Rosie to stop and turn towards where the sound came from.
I leaned upwards and began to edge away from her slowly. Sirens suddenly filled the air from behind the police officer.
"Let her go now!" the man said as he pointed the gun steadily at Rosie.
