It wasn't like I couldn't hear anything; I could see and hear just fine. I just couldn't say anything, and my eyes were closed shut.
"Sky?" I called through our bond, but I met a brick wall. "What now?" I asked myself.
"Now, we have a conversation," the moon goddess said to me.
"Oh, come on," I rolled my eyes. "Why now? Why do you always do this? You pick the worst times of my life to come in." I effectively yelled at her, but her face remained serene, almost as though she had grown accustomed to it.
"What is this?" I asked her.
"Nothing," she said, still meeting my eyes. "The whole point of this is for encouragement and for you to feel that you're not alone, Diana. This is why we have all of us with us," she said.
"No," she answered me seriously. "It's for everyone, and I am for a select few. I get to speak to you when I want to because of your mental powers." She gestured around herself. "As for the rest of it, it's a bit complicated."
I raised my eyebrow
