Days had painfully passed by yet why hadn’t anyone from my Pack come to save me? Where were my parents when I needed them the most, or did Cole and his people do something terrible to them?
As restless as these questions made me feel it was clear being locked in this hellhole that smelled like a rotten fish wasn’t where I was going to get my answers. The walls were marble-stone stained with blood trails that probably belonged to my predecessors here. Each breath that I drew from this was dry and a hassle that my lungs could almost collapse. How could I not feel this way when this hole has been dark, hot, narrow with a ridiculously small diameter that I could barely move my body?
