Soon after Ginger left Chris came up and sat besides my bed in one of the chairs that was already there. He asked how I was feeling and if my pillows were all fine and if I was comfortable. '' Sorry Victoria I know you must be hungry but Xavier said he'd bring the food up when he's done. '' '' It's fine don't worry.'' Chris smiled softly at me his laughing lines becoming even more prominent. Chris was in his late forties but he look like he was in his late thirties. That's all thanks to the werewolf ageing. His blonde hair was cut short yet looked as if he hadn't brushed it and he had slight stubble similar to Xavier's. I felt guilty in that moment. I realised that I had caused everyone I love so much of pain and sleepless nights. They shouldn't of worried about me I'm no one important. '' That's all we have done since you were taken, is worry,'' he said sighing. '' I know and I feel so guilty.'' '' Why, you shouldn't feel guilty at all! What happened to you
