“Mary,” Anna said as Mary sat in the seat opposite of her. “I hope your trip here was smooth,” she said as she beckoned on the waitress.
Mary smiled at her. “Yes, it was. Thank you for asking, Mrs. Solorante.”
Anna smiled back and turned to the waitress. “We'll have an espresso and one black coffee, don't add sugar to it.”
“Yes, ma'am,” The waitress said and as she was about to turn, Anna added. “And please, we'd also like two bottles of water. Thank you.”
“Is that all, ma'am?”
Anna nodded. “For now, yes.”
“You remembered how I like my coffee,” Mary commented as soon as the waitress left.
Anna smiled and nodded. “Well, unlike you, I was rather interested in the family so yeah, I do remember. Anyway, let's get down to business, shall we?” She said.
“Why did you call me here?” Mary questioned.
“Good question,” Anna sighed, leaning back in her seat before staring straight into the eyes of Mary. “Why do you think I called you here?”
