Reilley's POV
My heart almost dropped on the cold floor when a familiar deep voice suddenly spoke behind me. I nervously turned my head to look at him.
It's indeed the Devil I know.
"W—Why are you here?" I asked like a scared cat trying to act unafraid.
Deavon stared straight through my soul. His eyes are covered in pure blankness and emptiness. I can't read him again. He's always been like this, but now it hits different.
He's scary.
"Nasty temper, huh?" he slurred. I flinched when he takes a step forward. He's coming towards me!
"D—Don't you dare take one more step!" I squeaked. My eyes automatically scanned the whole place to find something to defend myself with. When did he followed me here? I'm sure no was in here when I entered this room. "You see this?!" I blurted and show him the shirt hanger. "I will smash this on your face if you dared to—"
My eyes widened when he suddenly pulled me into a tight embrace. The hanger falls off my hand.
