The car eased to a stop, its engine purring softly as the sun-dappled driveway stretched out before them. Oliver's face was grave, his eyes serious as he turned to his sister. "Alright, Janie," he said, his voice low and gentle. "We both know the storm's gonna hit the second you step through that door. "Just remember that you've got me and Max rooting for you. If things get too intense, just give me a call, and I'll come get you. Alright?" Jane nodded, her lips pressed into a thin line. "I appreciate it, Oliver," she said, her voice shaking slightly. "I just hope they can see how happy I am with Max. Maybe then they'll understand." Oliver reached out and gave his sister's shoulder a gentle squeeze.
