Chapter 13: Farewell

Earlier I was restless because of the result of inverstigation. Lots more loopholes and stuffs but the teacher just agreed to what Gray and Alistair said. It was pretty convincing too. Even though I wanted to answer I couldn"t, the way they Gray explained the whole thing was pretty much convincing to others.

The motive was dumb, seriously ?! I know you can hurt someone because of love but this is Evyanah we"re talking about! I don"t think she can do that to me ?!

"I'm so sorry Taliyah, w-I really don't have any evidence of seeing Seraphina." No one saw Seraphina that day, she probably stayed in her room the whole day after the meeting.

Taliyah and I were the only ones who believed that Evyanah was innocent. Other members of the student council believed that Evyanah did that.

"It's ok princess, and at least Evyanah's punishment isn't severe." They already started the punishment, not too severe since she"s from another Empire.

Evyanah admits that she did it all and she was nodding everytime there was a question, Seraphina was weeping because she was falsely accused. But after a few minutes, she looks fine again. I know she did that to me in my previous life, she managed to frame Evyanah too and I didn"t know how. She"s always this kind of person, using others for her own. That innocent looking face can fool everyone, everyone except me.

"Pr-princess, it's really ok. Y-you can stop breaking that wooden sword now. " I looked at my hand. Shit.

We are in the training room now, everyone moved on easily from the incident since the culprit was found out. I was busy clenching my fist while holding a sword and I didn"t realize that the sword Im holding is… broken. I think I broke it, I was dead to Sir Leo of it.

After class Taliyah and I went out immediately, I didn't go with Jayden and Jasper first since I wanted to see Evyanah.

The punishment is just to stay in the room until they return to their own Empire. Which means she can"t go out for days. Art is busy preparing for the party, but I think Evyanah is going to attend the party since it's for them

As we were on our way to the dorm we met Seraphina, she was coming out of the building. She smiled at us while Taliyah rolled her eyes heavenwards.

"Hello princess! Hi sis- I mean Taliyah. I"m so sorry to hear about what your sister did to the Princess, Taliyah. " She greeted while placing her hand in her chest like she was concerned or something.

Taliyah calmed herself down. Since Evyanah is gone she must learn to control her anger in front of Seraphina.

"I'll go first." Taliyah said once leaving there, seems like Seraphina wants to talk to me.

"So princess, I heard you"re siding them. I was hurt but I understand since you guys are friends. " Her hands were still on her chest, she"s always playing the victim here.

I would really love to do something to her but she"s destined to be the Queen. The timeline is already messed up, I"m not interfering with her destiny. But in case im fed up with her shit, I won"t think twice taking her down. I will never forget what he did to me.

I should be calm and kind to her.

"I"m not taking any sides Princess Seraphina, I"m just taking care of the culprit. She didn"t mean to hurt me. " She was surprised of my answer, guess she"s not expecting me to be calm. "Like you said, we"re friends. I wouldn"t leave my friend just because she did something awful to me. "

I gave her a cold smile and a cold glare. Students are watching us now, she thought I would over react and make a fuss about her being the culprit. Sadly I won"t act rashly. This already happened in my previous life, if I act like a child then her plan is working.

‘June is smart."
‘Yeah right? I thought he was the one who insisted that Seraphina did it to him? "
‘I guess it was just false rumors, it looks like June is okay."

I smirked, I approached him whispred something.

"I guess your plans didn"t work this time huh? If only I find enough evidences that it was you who did it. " I whispered coldly, which made her flinched. "I will gladly take you down, down and buried."

I walked away from her and smiled sweetly, her eyes were full of fire. She"s clearly mad, but I know she won"t act rashly too.

"I will see you around, Princess Seraphina." She just stood there and was left dumbfounded.

I went inside the building and went to Evyanah and Taliyah"s room. I knocked and Taliyah immediately opened it.

I went in and I saw Evyanah stunned to one side, she was mumbling about something.

"She was like this when I came in, she won"t talk to me. She was busy whispering about something. " worried Taliyah said.

"What did she whisper?" I asked.

"I'm not sure." I approached Evyanah, her eyes are dull. Wait, he was ok when there was a trial. She was fine when we delivered her here too.

I moved closer to hear her whispers.

"She's going to kill her and it's my fault"

Kill? Kill who?

"Evyanah?" she immediately looked at me. She didn"t respond when Taliyah called her, why is she responding to me?

"P-princess !?" he stood up and held my two hands. "I- I did it. I did this to you! I… I ordered them to chase you! Im sorry! "

I was surprised when he said that. She was silent the whole trial, she let Gray do the talk. Why is she admitting it now? Did someone gave her any threats?

"Si-sister? Are you serious? " Taliyah hugged her sister.

"Y-yes I did it all. Please forgive me Princess. " I raised my eyebrow.

"Its ok Evyanah I forgive you." I said softly and stood up. "Did someone come in your room?"

"N-no…" I looked at her eyes, but she avoided. Gotcha. She"s clearly lying.

But I guess I wont go cross the line for now, it might end up something worst. Seraphina- you bitch.

"HMMFFFF HELP ME GUYSSSSS" Art was whining the whole afternoon because of the party. Because it's tomorrow. We are here in the field and sitting at one of the tables.

This party is kinda like grand since they are from a foreign land. We will be wearing dresses and stuffs, of course there will be dancing. Damn I hate that part.

"Shut up, you're the mastermind of that." Jasper responded. "It's good that other students at school helped you."

"Haaaah what can I say? I"m good-looking, of course they are gonna help me-

"Just shut up there Art. We are also busy with ideas. " Jayden replied, Art was upset.

"Your head is hot. You want me to call Gray for-

"I swear to God if you don"t shut up right now. I will kill you. " Jayden cracked her knuckles ready to attack Art.

"Why? What do you need from me? " Jayden immediately jumped in shock, her cheeks are red.

"You know Gray- ARAAAYYY" Jayden hit Art hard. She was glaring at Art, while Gray is just staring at her with his cold eyes.

It was kind of obvious that Jayden liked Gray, I don"t know since she never told me. I won"t force her to tell me though.

Gray put one hand in his pocket and the other on his neck. He was rubbing his neck, probably because he was annoyed of what Art is blabbering about.

"Stop being petty." Gray muttered.

"DAMN RIGHT I"M PRETTY!" Art shouted to the surprise of the other students who were helping to prepare.

"I said Petty not pretty." Art made a face. Gray shrugged.

"I hate you." Art replied.

"Why? I"m lovely. " Gray is now smirking at Art while Art pouted. I was just slapped on my forehead. What is wrong with these two?

Jayden approached me and stepped aside. She was busy writing something and was also busy looking at Gray who had earlier quarreled with Art.

"Hey." I looked at Alistair who had just arrived. He looked at me and I looked at him, we looked at each other. I immediately looked away when I remembered that I left him without saying goodbye.

I bent down and continued writing my work.

"I"m sure you have something to tell me? Hmm? " he whispered near my ears and I could feel his breath.

"OH MY GO- will you stop that ?!" I was caught in one of my ears where he whispered. He just chuckled at what he did. I can"t believe this guy! We are in public!

"Hmmm? Where is my sorry and thank you? " Alistair is crossing his arms right now.

"C-can we do this later or tomorrow? I still have work to do. I am busy and you are not even helping-

"Mhmmm… sure. We can talk tomorrow at the party. " He patted my head.

"Party ?! I will also be busy dancing with-

"Make sure I'm the only one you can dance with tomorrow. If you don"t want any corpse lying around campus. "

WHAT IS HE CRAZY NOW ?!

Its already time for the party, Art and Jasper took Seraphina, Taliyah and Evyanah. Earlier I was waiting for Jayden outside Jayden"s room. She said she wants to wear a suit but I want her to wear a dress instead.

"J-june, can I just wear a suit? I'm not comfortable with this. " I was slapped on the forehead and the room was opened. "E-

"Oh shush, wear that. It"s a masked themed party. I"m sure they won"t know who you are. " He raised an eyebrow at me and placed one hand on his waist.

"Yes, but they will know who you are." I smirked, she just sighed. She took the red dress, in my opinion Jayden should wear a showy type kind of dress since she"s tall and she looks matured.

When she wore that I also made her wear red gloves, she looks stunning especially when her back is showing. Mhmm… just as I imagined, she"s beautiful with this kinds of dresses.

Usually princesses wears thick clothing, difficult to move. And If Jayden"s gonna wear that kind of dress, she"s gonna look big and stuffy. It's really better if the fabric isn't too thick.

I used make ups and a few jewelries too. I also fixed her hair.

"Well aren't you on fire tonight?" I'm smiling proudly at him, not gonna lie. She looks beautiful as heeeckkk. "Gray's gonna love your outfit tonight."

I saw her blushing so she immediately bowed.

"How d-did you know?" he asked incredulously.

"What can I say? I"m great at observing people. " Not really, Jayden is just too obvious. I just said that to look myself cool.

I put on my mask and gave him the same. I wore a blue dress, I also don"t like thick dresses. They are suffocating me, noon I really love wearing it since it"s a fashion trend. But I looked like a child wearing those dresses. Nakakahiya teh.

I also wear gloves but mine is longer, my dress is shining shimmering. Unlike Jayden, my back was covered in fur. I didn"t wear this before because it"s too showy and the Prince hates showy dresses. I hope he will really hate my dress tonight so he won't approach me.

When we came out of the guy"s dorm many eyes were immediately staring at us. I forgot that women are not allowed in the guy"s dorm. But nah, we are a student council.

'Who are they?'
‘They are beautiful"
‘Wait until they come out of the guy"s dorm?"
‘Cross-dressers?"
‘Maybe they"re gay?"
‘They"re nice to be gay."

I was humbled by what they were saying. Fortunately, we are masked haysss.

We are already here in the field, since many attended because of the farewell party. Many wear masks and others do not, masks are annoying too.

This is Art, he said he should be a masked part so that he can see true love. I don't know if there is something wrong with the brain.

He said he wanted to meet a mysterious girl, so he would investigate who she was. Its like a fairytale shit or something.

"WHOAAAA JUNEEE ~" I heard Art shout. It immediately approached us, Jasper followed. "Gandaaa moooo even if you're wearing a mask."

He bowed and kissed my hands, its normal since it"s a way of greeting. Art also took Jayden's hand.

"Who's this beautiful lady beside you?" I"m laughing inside my head now. "Is she the mystery girl I"m looking for?"

"That's my sister you idiot." Jasper hit Art on the head. Jasper did what Art do, kissing lady"s hands as a greeting.

"Wait, seriously ?! WE DIDN'T FACE JAYD- "

"Don't shout! You're so noisy." Jayden covered Art's mouth.

Many people have already come and I think it will start soon. I havent seen Alistair and Gray around-

"You both look beautiful." Jayden and I were surprised when Gray suddenly appeared. WHERE DID HE CAME FROM? He also did the greeting thing. "Hi Jayden."

I don't know about you siszts but I'm already screaming in my mind. SHEETT I'M LISTENING, hanep Gray he immediately looked at Jayden.

"He-hello." Jayden stammered. I was smiling the whole time till he arrived.

"Good evening Princess." Alistair immediately grabbed my hand and kissed it, then placed it on the side of his head.

"Ok, what are you doing?" I was about to withdraw my hand when suddenly someone spoke from the microphone. It was Art and I guess he"s going to be the host for tonight.
"GOOD EVENING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" the students "attention was on everyone. "Our foreign exchange students will be arriving soon, and this party is for them!"

Jasper approached Art and whispered something.

"Welp! I guess they are already here! Let us welcome! Seraphina Clement! "

The spotlight was on Seraphina arriving from the grand entrance, people are clapping and whistling.

"Taliyah Seymour!" another scream.

"And Evyanah Seymour! Let"s give them around of applause please! "

Everyone is clapping and shouting for them. I sat down next to him and Alistair let go of my hand. He gazed at me while lifting an eyebrow.

"Shall we start the dancing ceremony? The crowned prince will start. "

I sighed and looked up at Alistair expecting him to go to the center to dance with one of the exchange students.

Boy was I wrong, what is he doing ?! The plan is that the crowned prince must choose a partner from the foreign exchange students. Didn"t Art tell him ?! Or did he forget to tell him ?! Why is he still next to me ?!

"Finally, may I have this dance? Princess Juniper Astraea "

I turned to Art and widened my eyes. He was just smiling and shrugging the whole time.
Shit I would have avoided Alistair today and not talked to him. Art I"m gonna kill you later. I calmly take his hands and we both went to the center.

"What are you wearing?" he asked as we started to dance. I raised an eyebrow at him, where is his common sense ?!

"Uh… a dress?" he raised an brow

"I can see that."

"Then why are you asking?" annoyed I asked him.

"Do I need to be specific? Why are you wearing such revealing clothes? " I stared at him. "You know I hate showy clothes."

"None of your business Al. I prefer this clothes than wearing those puffy dresses. " I looked up, I still manage to catch up with his dances. "Don't force me to dress something I don't like."

He always dances aggressively, like my previous life. I can"t keep up with his moves and I always make mistakes so I"m embarrassed non. I practiced till my feet bleeds just to keep up with her dance.

"I'm sorry." I immediately looked at him because he suddenly apologized to me. "Y-You look good though."

I sighed and smiled at him, for some reason I can"t stay mad at him. I just nodded, we continue dancing until some students went and dance along with us. Art went to dance with Evyanah, Jasper went to Taliyah while Gray danced with Seraphina.

I immediately looked at the side where Jayden stayed. She was also looking back at me saying she"s fine. She even mouthed ‘I can"t dance"

"By the way. Where is my sorry and thank you. " I rolled my eyes, he smirked. It looks like he just apologized.

"Fine. Thank you for taking care of me and sorry for leaving you. " I apologized to him.

"Say it with feelings."

"Thank you and I'm sorry with feelings. Oh Ok? " he laughed at what I said, haven"t seen that in a while.

"You're hilarious as ever."

(Author"s POV)

"May I have this dance, Princess Seraphina?" Seraphina reluctantly stood up and took Gray's hand.

Gray was also in a foul mood because Art forced him to dance with Seraphina since Alistair had no plans to approach one of the exchange students.

"Don"t act proud, wizard. I only danced with you because I have no choice. " Seraphina said confidently. Gray gave her a detestable look.

Gray already reached his limit with Seraphina, thinking why he accidentally helped her from before was really a mistake.

"Don"t flatter yourself princess. I was also forced to do this dance, and if I have other choices I won"t be choosing you. " Gray responded to Seraphina"s insult.

"How dare you-

"Stop showing you true colors. Its awful. " Seraphina was silenced by what Gray said.

While Gray was busy looking at Jayden"s direction who was currently sitting while surrounded by some random guys. Gray gritted his teeth.

‘I should be there."

When the dance was over I immediately approached Jayden, and Alistair just followed me there.

"Why are you following me?" annoyed I asked him. "Go dance with other students."

"No, I"m tired. I'm just here next to you. " I ignored him and sat down at one of the tables. I also chased away the men around Jayden, he didn't pay attention either.

I confronted Jayden who was also busy staring and Gray who was also busy dancing with Seraphina in the field.

"I wish I could dance." He whispered softly to himself, he probably didn't notice that I was here in front of him.

"You should seduce him." I suggested, she was surprised and her cheeks turned red again even though she was wearing a mask. He fanned himself weakly.

"You"re not serious right?" she responded. "I'm seductive as a potato."

I just laughed at her respond. I patted her shoulders.

"All right, Seraphina will be ahead of you." I was surprised when she suddenly stood up, guess she"s doing it anyway.

"Hmm… can I hold your hand?"

I raised him when I saw him drinking a lot of glasses of alcohol. WHAT THE ACTUAL SHIT. He has low tolerance in alcohol! I remember him getting drunk before, and it wasn"t a good memory.

"Al, how many shots did you drink?" he hold both of my hands and his eyes were both twinkling.

"You"re beautiful and I really really wanted to kiss you-

"Shit, you're really drunk."
