Chapter 45 : Telling April the Truth

*Mae* Mae dried her hair as she walked out of the bathroom. She felt better now that she had talked to Henry and had a chance to clean up. She moved slowly to the closet, trying to keep her mind clear, and picked out some comfortable clothes. As she searched through the shirts, she held back a yawn and wondered what would be an acceptable time to head to bed. Once Mae was dressed, she walked back into the kitchen where Henry was doing the dishes from his lunch. He glanced up at her and offered a comforting smile before turning his attention back toward the dishes.
