Melanie felt a mix of emotions. If Edward stayed at home, the Grayson family wouldn't dare to push her around. It was better to avoid unnecessary trouble. But she would feel more at ease at night if he didn't come home. Sharing a bed with him felt awkward. There was always a strange tension in the air. While the couple whispered to each other in their room, Sophie and Felicia were busy complaining. "I'm so sick of her! Felicia, what can we do to get rid of her?"
