At this point, Anna willingly handed the car keys to Melanie. Previously, she had looked down on Melanie, thinking it was a waste that Edward treated her so well.
But now she recognized that Melanie had a certain quality about her, was emotionally intelligent, and knew how to handle situations. She was much better than those in the younger generations in the family.
After all, even if someone was perceived as foolish, marrying into the Grayson family would inevitably sharpen their wits.
Anna realized she shouldn't view people through a biased lens. Just because Melanie came from a rural background didn't mean she was inferior.
"I'll have Edward arrange for you to take your driving test. Once you get your license, you can start driving. The car will be of no use just sitting here. You might as well take it," Anna suggested.
Melanie could tell that Anna's attitude toward her had softened significantly, and a genuine smile spread across her face. "Thank you, Anna."
