Edward didn't say a word, but his grip tightened. He was clearly trying to turn Melanie's body toward him. She rolled over and immediately found herself locking eyes with his intense ones. The moment their eyes met, the awkwardness between them only intensified. Edward thought to himself, "Well, maybe we should at least kiss.
