CHAPTER 106: SARAH'S BREAKDOWN
"Where could she have gone to? Weren't we talking here just minutes ago? Sarah!" Cecilla yelled her name again, but all she got in response was an echo of her voice.
She has searched each room, even the store. And none of the bathrooms had water currently running in them; she'd have said Sarah couldn't hear her because of the water.
And Cecilia was so sure that she didn't step out of the house; she was close to the door, so there's no way she'd have gone out through it that she wouldn't know.
And the worst part? She left her phone in the living room! I dialed her number earlier, but it rang right beside me. I wanted to call Paul to let him know she was missing, but I also wanted to confirm as he was swamped.
"If this is a prank, you better stop it already, Sarah. It's not funny any longer." Cecilla yelled out, hoping she'd come out and shout 'boo! I was only pulling your legs.'
