  &quot;Look I didn t mean to okay; can we not argue please we just got home&quot; Thaddeus says shocking me. Does he really think he did something bad? Orion clears his throat. Thaddeus looking up at him and I could tell he was waiting for his wrath.
  Orion scratches the back of his neck looking awkward and like it was actually causing him pain to apologise to him. I step closer to Thaddeus who was still waiting for Orion to yell at him. I grab his face his eyes darting up to me. 
  &quot;You didn t do anything wrong&quot; I tell him. His brows furrow, and he shakes his head. 
  &quot;I killed him, aren t you mad?&quot; he asks. 
  &quot;You didn t do anything wrong, Thaddeus. Even the news anchor said you were hero, you saved three people&quot; Orion says, finally finding his voice. Thaddeus stares at him dumbstruck.

  Evelyn s POV
  The next week went by quickly, I was starting to feel more like myself. The herbs Amara gave me helped but so did drinking both Orion s and Ryland s blood. Though Ryland s I craved, and I sometimes needed help to stop. Ryland didn t seem to mind but I could tell everyone was worried about what would happen when the baby was to arrive. Honestly, I was petrified of dying too, yet more petrified of coming back, coming back as a Lycan. They have explained numerous times what would happen if I did and each time it scared me more, to the point I have now stopped asking. 
  Amara seems to think I don t have long left, so today Thaddeus and Orion were heading into the city to get some things. Ryland made the baby a crib by hand took him three days before he would even allow me in the shed to see it.  Imogen brought over some of Amara s and Thaddeus s old baby stuff that she hung

  Ryland moves Amara to the couch placing her down gently just as Thaddeus walks back in with Orion. Imogen, Ryland, and I all looking at Thaddeus, my heart skipping a beat remembering Amara s words. Thaddeus noticing his sister on the couch rushes over. 
  &quot;What happened?&quot; he asks, looking to his mother. Imogen stares at her son with fearful eyes before her eyes dart to me. But Ryland was the one that answered. &quot;Nothing happened, she just passed out&quot; he says, Thaddeus I could tell, knew he was lying. 
  &quot;What did she see?&quot; He demands looking to me, but I had gone completely mute, like I couldn t even form a word. How could one person completely destroy the world, cities, countries even but the world? Amara groans her hand going to her head like she had a bad headache. 
  Her eyes were back to normal as they flicked to everyone staring at her.
