　　Cassey frowned, looked for a long time through the doorway, then Shook her head and shrugged. "I guess she’s chanting a curse? I mean, look at her, if there’s anyone who could be a real vampire, that’s her right? Maybe she’s cursing her husband..." 　　"You’ve read too many novels, girl. She’s calculating how much property she can get if she divorces the president." 　　Cassey looked at him like he was an idiot. 　　"Can our president's property even be calculated?" 　　"I mean, the president is rich not just here but all over the world, I doubt we can calculate how much she’ll be getting. Even with a computer, it’ll probably take a long time. 　　Someone said bitterly, "I don't know what her deal is. Our president is so damn hot. She actually wants to get a divorce from him. Other women would probably sell their parents if that would buy them a night with him." 　　Cassey nodded in agreement. 　　"Maybe she’s playing hard to get? Maybe they had a prenup? Maybe she wants a bigger share than she’s been given? I think she's just planning how to get a bigger divorce settlement later." 　　"Well, I think so too. I bet five bucks, she will smash the computer and threaten the president today." 　　"I bet ten, she’s going to burn the files." 　　"Then I'll bet on twenty, she will try to kill him. See, she brought him food? Maybe she’s come here to poison him! Such a cruel woman! The girl's fingers were white and tender, and it looked even more delicious than the pastry. 　　He nodded and she placed a piece in his mouth. 　　Antoinette Yun looked at him nervously. 　　This bakery was her favorite, but she didn't know if Steve Gu would like it. 　　He swallowed the food under her gaze and nodded. 　　"Delicious." 　　"Really?" 　　"Ok." 　　Antoinette Yun was pleased that he liked it, and fed him some more. 　　She didn't know if it was intentional or not. Several times, his lips accidentally brushed against her finger. 　　The feel of his soft, moist lips made Antoinette's ears slightly red, but she did not shy away from it, even if her heartbeat was speeding up. 　　Suddenly, Steve's phone rang. 　　He took the call and said a few words, his eyebrows furrowed. 　　Quickly, Antoinette made herself scarce. Basically a teen magazine masquerading as a music website for adults. 　　In her other timeline, Steve knew that Antoinette liked to occupy herself reading this. 　　Antoinette didn't refuse, but after a while, she was bored. It wasn’t just that she already knew what was in there, including the scandal of Regine Lin, which never happened in the other timeline. 　　She was truly tired of reading these things. 　　Because the Yun family paid a huge sum to hush it up, and because Regine Lin had been out of show business for many years, the news died down after two days. 　　Antoinette Yun was so bored, she couldn’t even bother to read the gossip about her stepmother.
