Chapter 407
Sabrina looked up and saw Nelson in a state of panic, completely unlike his usual calm, composed self.
His hand was pressed firmly against the back of her head, holding her so tightly to his chest that she could barely breathe.
She pushed her hands against his chest. "Let go!"
Feeling her warmth, sensing her struggle, he suddenly snapped out of it. A wave of relief washed over him. This wasn't three years ago.
"Get in the car. I have something I want to talk to you about."
Sabrina hesitated for a moment, then silently followed him into the car.
They drove to Villa No. 6 on Windermere Street. The place didn't look all that different from before.
Nelson handed her a towel and, as he poured her a glass of water, asked, "It's pouring out there. Where's Gerald?" He let her wander around alone in the middle of the night?
He knew Gerald held an irreplaceable place in her life now, and even though they were divorced, he couldn't help the pang of jealousy that twisted in his chest.
