Chapter 406
In the room, Asher had his face buried against Chelsea's neck, lost in thought.
But his years of experience in risky business had sharpened his instincts, and at the sound of footsteps outside, he lifted his head and called out in a rough voice, "Sabrina?"
Sabrina responded, "Oh, I'm heading out for a bit. Could you and Chels keep an eye on William?"
"Sure," Chelsea answered, her face flushed as she tried to push Asher away.
However, Asher didn't budge. Still focused on her, he made her squeal by nipping playfully. "Let go! Go watch the kid," she protested.
"One more round first," Asher murmured. Once he had started something with her, he couldn't—and didn't want to—stop. Even if the sky fell, he'd finish this first.
Chelsea used to hate these moments with him, especially his roughness. It only made her resent it more.
But somewhere along the line, she stopped resisting. Maybe her body had gotten used to Asher. And Asher, of course, knew all too well how to get under her skin…
