Chapter 2

"How was it last night, didn't you know better?" "You..." Dorothy lived her life as a good girl in two lifetimes. The only unpardonable act she had committed was, premeditatively, clinging to powerful legs. Although, she mistakenly attached to the wrong person, this person shouldn't humiliate her like this, should he? At this thought, Dorothy was so angry she was borderline dizzy. She immediately jerked her hand back, disregarding the warmth felt just now. "Sir, I'm sorry, everything last night was an accident. Let's pretend nothing happened." After speaking, Dorothy stood up, looking around and found that they were in a hotel suite. They had spent the night on the sofa. Dorothy twitched her mouth, retracted her gaze, intending to find her clothes. To her surprise, the man in front of her suddenly ripped off the bath towel wrapped around him without saying a word, then turned around vigorously, revealing the very conspicuous fingernail marks on his back. "Did you see this? What is this? You think you can just roll over and dash off? It's not that easy." With that said, he walked up and looked at Dorothy condescendingly. "You must take responsibility!" Dorothy was dumbstruck. In this day and age, rogue behavior still exists? Don't men typically dash off after sleeping with someone? Why is he here demanding responsibility? She felt as if she'd seen a ghost. "Sir, I'm sorry. Everything last night was a misunderstanding. If it's your first 'whatever' that you can't let go, how about this? I'll give you some money, consider it as..." Buzz, buzz, buzz—— Before Dorothy could finish her sentence, a vibration from a cell phone could be heard coming from the sofa. The man remained motionless, meaning the phone must be hers. Dorothy took a deep breath and hastily picked up the phone. She glanced at the caller's name: "Dark-faced Yama"? Who was that? Hesitating, she held the phone to her ear. "Dorothy, I give you half an hour to get home, or else, you bear your own consequences." Hearing the aloofness in the voice, a chill crept up Dorothy's back. The person on the other end of the line was no other than her biological elder brother, a heartthrob among the college girls despite his young age. Remembering the first day she woke up and how her brother nearly strangled her on the hospital bed, Dorothy shuddered. In a flurry, she walked towards the hotel's wardrobe. There were a few sets of men's clothes. Without any hesitation, she pulled one on. "Oh right, sir, I will transfer you the money when I get home. Here is my phone number, please take note of it, I'll contact you later." With a sinking heart, Dorothy picked an eyebrow pencil from the makeup table and jotted down her phone number on the tabletop. When she walked out the door, she completely ignored the man's livid expression. "Oh, right, it was the first time for both of us, so it's like a mutual offset. I'm still giving you money, so it's a sure win, right? Goodbye!" Thud! - Dorothy threw the door shut, and like that, she left the place with disheveled hair and a dirty face. The grand presidential suite fell silent, and the silence went on for quite a while. "Hmph!" The man snorted coldly, his eyes squinting as he looked at the messy quilt on the sofa, and the subtle hint of red hidden within. Taking a deep breath of the ambiguous scent in the room, his face turned grim. Turning around, he sat down next to the sofa, picked up the mobile phone from the table and made a call. As soon as the call was connected, a mocking voice came through, "Mr. Seven, how was your night? To your taste, was it?" Narrowing his eyes, the man asked, "Did that woman come looking for you?" "Isn't it obvious? She even sneakily added something special for me, but I switched things around and gave her to you instead. How did it go? Was the battle intense?" "Darn it!" The man ferociously smashed his phone, his eyes glowed with a terrifying red light.
