We'll never learn and tell if she indeed made the correct choice, but I'm grateful Diana was still with us, even though our lives were at risk at the time. We probably wouldn't be able to swerve to avoid them indefinitely, and if we don't reach this destination soon, we'll be dead. Diana would die from frostbite, while the remaining of us will most undoubtedly be mauled to death and ripped to shreds. At the very least, if we don't take things into our own hands first.
Justine's hand was on my shoulders, like it often was, pulling me ahead. It's a gentle, consistent reminder to keep moving no matter what and to don't ever take a gander back.
