"Hello, brother."
Summer was the first to welcome me as I walked into the living room of my parents' mansion. She returned her attention to her phone again, sitting cross-legged on the couch like a queen bee. A smile crossed my face and I pulled her in a tight hug, knowing fully well how she hated having any form of human contact with anyone.
"Get off me." She tried to struggle from my hold but I held her even tighter and laughed.
"Mom!" She yelled and I let her go, aware that our mother would come running here in the next second to protect her precious daughter.
"How's it going, grumpy?"
She huffed and dusted invincible specks of dirt off her dress. The dirt was obviously...me.
How Hilarious.
"You know, you gotta fix that attitude of yours or you're never getting a boyfriend." I crossed my arms over my chest and stared at her.
Summer shot me a glare and returned to her seat, cross-legged again and focused on her phone.
