As Suzy and I walked back home in the cold night and I breathed in the fresh damp air, I kept a calm watch over the yellow and white city lights, the tall buildings and the glass walls. I couldn't bring myself to fathom just how much drama this city held. The troubles and love and loss.
"What is Seoul like at night?" I asked, breaking the calm silence. She seemed to be dazed and lost in her thought too and my question brought her back to reality.
Suzy sighed and looked at the skies and the surroundings. Her eyes travelled from the busy people walking in the street and a young drunk couple making out shamelessly behind their car.
"Not much. It's like your typical night in every city. Everyone is either drinking or clubbing or eating. Or sleeping. And then, there's soju and beer and ramen and chicken. It's a whole vibe."
