A condolence Visit
Jordan hissed between gritted teeth. Silly boy, he doesn't know what he meant by knowing something. "Nosy" he murmured under his breath and Kunle chuckled aloud. He had said things that Jordan dosen't seem interested in. He shrugged and looked towards Tina "You are welcome once again detective Tina" he said stretching his hand and taking hers gently. "Thank you detective Kunle,"Tuna replied and smiled faintly. She doesn't smile often. Not because she is a detective but because it's just her, she is not the smiling type. Some said she's hard judging by her facial expression while some felt she is being arrogant. Whatever, she is Tina Smith and that's what matters to her. Kunle nodded and Tina withdrew her hand carefully. She is not the type who got familiarize with people she meet, she takes her time to study before getting acquainted with people. "Nice meeting you detective Tina" Isabella welcomed her still. She smiled. Now they are two males and two females in the team, that makes it even. She hoped Tina would be the wonderful type and working together with her would bring them quickly resolve to mystery and share experiences together. "The pleasure is mine," Tina replied and smiled at her. It appears she smiled more broader to Isabella than Kunle. Jordan just focused on the report before him. When they are done welcoming the new detective, they would sit down and brainstorm. There was silence after Isabella and Tina exchanged a few pleasantries. Jordan looked up from the system before him and coughed slightly, indicating he was about to go serious. Jordan is like that. He might be discussing randomly or casually things that have nothing to do with his job. But once he was going serious, he would cough slightly. Kunle and Isabella have long gotten used to that. "Tell us a little about yourself, detective Tina. What area you had expertise and the cases you have handled in the past.." Jordan asked, motioning them all to take a seat. Tina took her seat and looked at everyone seated. " I am Tina Smith an assistant detective to Derick Clinton of the FBI and I've worked with him for two years before coming over. I haven't made much record for myself. I was just privilege to capture the notorious female terrorist who killed many in New York City. Besides that, I just made a few prosecution and…." Tina told them a few things about her work and they three stared at her, impressed at her work experience. When the news of Kimberly Jones, a female terrorist who was captured flooded the internet, they all applauded the detective who did the work. Now they remember, the face of the detective on the internet back then was Tina's. But then she was dressed in a uniform and her looks were a bit different. When she finished speaking, her team members just stared at her, admiring her bravery and couldn't help but conclude she's a great detective. Kunle applauded her already in his heart but needed to express it as he started clapping his hands "You are a super cop" he confessed. Perhaps with time, she would be on par with Jordan. Only Jordan has attained such heights in their team. "Glad to have you here," Jordan stated. It is incredible to have such a team member like Tina in their midst. She would be an instrumental support to them all. Tina glanced at him briefly and looked away. She had this expressionless face that made it appeared as if she is not the one who just talked about such a great achievement. She thanked Jordan and soon everyone set down for work. They needed to get answers within two weeks. " There are two cases of homicide. It is glaring that the victims were murdererd. And the urgency of the investigation is that one of the victims is the daughter of the billionaire Dare Wilson. The same Chief Dare Wilson that is well known in this city. The case is being given an utmost periority right now. That's what we have to work on. So we all need to bring our suggestions on how to tackle the case before I decide on how to begin.." Jordan declared. There was silence before Isabella asked "What makes you think it's a murder case, atleast we need to start somewhere" Jordan glanced through the report before him. " There were finger prints on the neck of one of the victims, Chief Dare's daughter to be precise. The other was shot in the chest, a young man and dumped a few meters away from the mainland bridge" Jordan explained. " We must find out who's fingerprints appeared on the victims neck.." Kunle suggested. At least that would bring them closer to the answer that they seek. Jordan nodded. That is Definitely one of the things to be done. The fingerprints confirmation will be done as soon as possible. "The age ranges of the victims?" Tina asked simply. She's thinking of something already. " Twenty one for the female and twenty seven for the male" Jordan replied. He was also thinking there might be a connection between the two victims. Tina nodded. She will need more evidence to conclude on what she's thinking about. " I want to suggest we visit the family of the victims, we would ask a few questions and then start from there" Jordan suggested. The others agreed. Tina asked a few more questions and they set out to go. They soon arrived at Dare Wilson's Mansion. They met a few people sobbing and passing condolences to the mother of the victim. Once they noticed that the people who arrived were detectives, they were happy. Finally, the law was going to get involved. The killers of Kitty Wilson will be brought to justice. Jordan and the others asked that Kate Wilson, Kitty's mother excused herself. The woman stood up and led the Detectives to another private room used as a mini sitting room for business purposes. Jordan began by expressing his sincere condolences on the death of her daughter and prayed for a peaceful repose of her soul. "Can we meet Chief Dare Wilson?" Jordan requested. " He travelled abroad" Kate Wilson replied.
