Matteo stepped forward and led Maeve out of the room. As Maeve reached the corridor, she spotted Tessa waiting for her. Tessa began to approach but hesitated when she noticed her gown. Maeve caught the brief flicker of surprise on Tessa's face but chose not to comment. Tessa swiftly regained her composure and said, "Ms. Scott, the bath is ready. Please, go ahead and wash up." Maeve nodded and began to head toward the bedroom, with Tessa following closely. Just as they reached the doorway, she pulled Tessa into the room. Tessa's face momentarily showed panic "Ms. Scott, what's going on?" "Nothing," Maeve responded. "But you seem unusually familiar with this dress." Realizing Maeve had seen through her, Tessa stopped trying to conceal the truth. "Ms. Scott, I must warn you. This gown belongs to Ms. Swanson. If she finds out someone else is wearing it, you could be in serious trouble." Maeve stated, "It's just a gown. Do you really think she would go so far as to harm
