Seeing Maeve stride out of Levi's study, Lyra hurried to catch up, raising her thumbs in support of her actions.
"Mavy! You're so brave! You're seriously my idol!" she exclaimed.
In all the time Lyra had spent in Seathburn City, she had never seen anyone speak to Levi like that. Maeve was truly one of a kind. Lyra's gaze now held a deeper respect for her.
"Do you think Levi will get back at me for that?" Maeve asked, her legs still shaky from what had just happened in the study.
