That weekend, Olivia looked at the bags that she had gotten from Julie when she went to ask for money the last time. Since she had no use for them, it would be better if she just pawned them off so she could get some more money. So she got dressed and went to the pawnshop. She expected it to have people since it was the weekend, but surprisingly, the place was empty. The owner was busy on his phone and didn’t even notice her come into the shop. It was only when she placed her things on the counter did he look at her. “Hi, I came to pawn these things off,” Olivia said to him once she saw that she had his attention. He looked at the handbags on the counter and could tell with a glance that most of them were fake. Olivia looked at him expectantly, but when he mentioned the price, she decided to give up. She knew that Chloe wouldn’t give her good things, and she, as a designer, knew the value of the bags even if they were fake. The man was clearly ripping her off. “Nevermind, I’ll just go
