Makenna's POV. I stood there, trying to shake off the remnants of anger still coursing through my veins. I felt like I’d just gone twelve rounds in the ring with Kenzie, and despite the adrenaline, guilt began to creep in. I turned to the group, taking in their faces—concerned, supportive, amused. “I’m really sorry, guys,” I said, my voice breaking the uneasy silence. “I didn’t mean to ruin dinner.
