(Cindy’s POV) [Days After the Cliff Incident] The news blares from the television and the image of one of the people I hate the most flashes before me. It's Kalel, his face beaming with triumph, plastered across the screen. Governor. He’s governor. The sour taste of bile rising in my throat. It's him who helped Camilla in her so-called revenge. He’s the reason why I fell to the rock bottom. It’s all because of him that Camilla was able to defeat me. It's been days since I started recovering in the kind woman’s house who miracally saved me from that cliff.
