Despite the late night, I was up early the next morning because I couldn’t sleep. Mason’s words kept replaying over and over in my mind. I got up and made my way over to the window. Pulling the curtain aside, I glanced outside. Snow blanketed the ground and the flowers, but despite that, I still itched to go for a walk.
