Levi noticed that Gabriella was taking too long in the washroom, so he minced to the door and checked. When he got inside, he found Gabriella sprawled on the floor. Levi sighed. Losing her baby and her hand damaged her so badly. Seeing her in that state broke his heart. He helped her up. “It’s okay, Gabby, I’m here. I’m sorry. I'm sorry." He gently patted her back. "I didn't mean to be harsh with my words.” Gabriella nodded. She knew he meant well. She was grateful she had someone who would scold her. “Come on. You should rest. Once you wake up, everything will be over.” Gabriella weakly stood up with Levi’s assistance. They walked back to the bed, and she lay down. The former governor’s second trial was nearing. Gabriella wanted to be there to support her father. She closed her eyes and prayed that she would magically get better when she awoke.
