Chapter 7

Lenora's POV "Lenora, Lenora" "Lenora…" A voice called out to me in pure darkness as I tried to open my eyes but was unable to move my body. My eyes, arms, and legs seemed to have lost its function as I continued my struggle to be in charge of my body, but I was quick to get drained as I slowly succumbed to the fight. "Lenora, get up now!" The voice echoed loudly and repeatedly as my eyes suddenly flew wide open with a gasp leaving my mouth, but no one seemed to have been in the room with me. The moment the rays of the sun touched my skin, a harsh wave of headache washed through my head as I held it tight in order to suppress the pain, but once the pain seemed to have subsided, I came to realise that I was in an unfamiliar environment. I instantly jumped from the king-sized bed on which I was lying, and the first thing that came to my mind was my child. As I touched my stomach, I could feel its presence there. I was relieved and happy to feel it in me as it was the first time I felt it
