CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY FOUR – NEW MARKETING
The Rusty Anchor buzzed with renewed energy as the team threw themselves into their new marketing efforts. Charlotte and Linda sat at a corner table, surrounded by a sea of colorful paper and markers.
"Alright," Charlotte said, holding up a draft flyer. "How about this? 'Join us for Throwback Thursday at The Rusty Anchor. Classic drinks, timeless atmosphere.'"
Linda squinted at the design. "It's... nice. But don't you think it needs more... pizzazz?"
Charlotte sighed, crumpling up the paper. "You're right. We need to stand out. Let's try again."
Hours passed as they brainstormed, designed, and redesigned. The table became a graveyard of discarded ideas and half-finished slogans.
"This is harder than I thought," Linda groaned, massaging her temples. "Who knew making a simple flyer could be so complicated?"
Charlotte nodded, stretching her cramped fingers. "I know. But we can't give up. The Golden Mug has professional marketing. We need to compete with creativity."
