Nia's mind raced, a thousand questions swirling in her head. "But why? What could Morrow possibly have to gain from all of this?"
"That's what we're trying to figure out." Sanders paused, his voice lowering. "But right now, our priority is keeping Leon safe. We need to make sure there aren't any more attempts on his life."
Nia nodded, her resolve hardening. "Whatever you need, Detective, I'm here."
As the radio fell silent, Nia turned to Maria, her expression grim.
