CHAPTER 56 WEDDING BELL BLUES

The following weeks were really intensive and Jenna and Ryan had to do a lot of effort to bring the financial status of the café back to normal. Thanks to the appearance of the unknown woman – Mrs. Mitchell, they managed to attract more investors and refine some of the contracts which previously put pressure on the company. When the café was earning enough to sustain itself, Jenna felt a new hope for the business. Her health was also regaining and she wanted to get back to their wedding plans which she had left as her stay at the hospital. One day when Ryan was going through the new sales forecasts with his mother, Jenna began the conversation. “Ryan, I was thinking. . . Now that things are getting a little less hectic, perhaps we can again begin the search for the wedding venue?” She spoke as if she truly, genuinely, wanted it and at the same time, as if afraid that he might reject the idea again. Ryan stopped for a second, his eyebrows drawn together. ”Wedding venues? Jen, I
