CHAPTER 40 GRADUATION DAY

There was a lot of commotion at the Berkeley campus as graduands and their relatives and friends flocked the venue for the commencement ceremony. Jenna was standing in front of the mirror in her dorm room putting on the cap and gown, and a number of feelings were going through her. She has a feeling of pride for the things she has achieved and anticipation of what is ahead for her and the last is a small reminder of the life she left behind. But above it all there was a feeling of unrest. Today was not only about the diploma she was going to get – today Ryan would come back from Tokyo. They had not met physically for 12 months, the only time they met was during their winter break visit that seemed like a dream.
