CHAPTER 104 ST. PATRICK'S DAY LUCK
Jenna opened her eyes to the morning sunrays that were entering the room through the curtains, and the felling of Ryan’s warmth near her. The weekend had been ideal – in fact it was almost too good to be true. They seemed to be in their own little world, with no pressure or stress as is usual with most people in today’s society. But now, as the first notes of the outside world seeped into the room, the consciousness of the real world began to filter back.
She woke up on her side and noticing the empty space next to her she turned over to see Ryan, wide awake with a little half smile on his face. “Good morning,” he whispered and pushing a strand of hair out of her face.
“Morning,” she said more to the pillow than to him as she wrapped her arms around him. “I could get used this waking up like this. ”
“Me too,” Ryan said and he had the tone of a satisfied yet a man with a void in his heart. “But we should probably start getting ready to head back. ”
