Chapter 53

　　Silas's perspective 　　I stayed a while in Neon’s study after he went for a meeting with the council of Elders. I worked on the pack issues we were having and started arranging his study before he came back. 　　I had to make sure the study room was cleaned, and every book was placed in the right order. 　　I asked the Gemma to leave and go on with his work at the borders, and I was behind at the mansion. 　　I was intentionally waiting to see Aria. Neon said she was asleep before he left and I was waiting for her to wake up so I could check up on her and hold a few conversations. 　　I wonder how she was feeling, and if her wound was healing. I forgot to ask if Neon used his saliva on her because it can also heal wounds, she probably didn’t want to take Neon’s blood. 　　Aria looked scared to be a werewolf and not after what she had seen, and what happened to her. 　　She probably thinks we are all beasts. 　　I ran a finger through my hair and stepped out of the study when it was past six.
