Aria's perspective
“Do I have to be a werewolf?” I mumbled.
She chuckled softly and folded her arms on her chest. She stared at me as if she wanted to read my thoughts.
“How do you expect to lead a pack of werewolves when you’re human?” She asked amusingly.
“I thought it could work.” My voice came out faintly.
“Don’t be silly. Aria, think about it, we are werewolves, you’re just human. You’re different from us, werewolves like us can’t go to your city and become president of the states and that’s how it works here too.” She rolled her eyes.
I pouted my lips. Neon told me he has an estate business in New York, and he’s influence in New York. He’s a werewolf but he was able to do all that.
“Can they tell?”
“We can easily sense that you’re human. It’s like a bad omen.”
I clamped my mouth because I had no idea how to respond to that, I looked away from her.
