Chapter 50
I frowned in a daze. The nickname rang a bell. A scene suddenly flashed across my mind.
On a grass field, a girl in double ponytails gave a piggyback ride to a boy much taller than her. She grinned. "I'm the Hulk! I can carry Lil' Beanie on my back!"
The boy—a few years older than the girl—had his feet dragged across the floor in a rather uncomfortable position when she carried him on his back. Still, he entertained the fake piggyback ride.
"Lil' Beanie, you're handsome!'
"Lil' Beanie, I will marry you when I'm grown up."
"Lil' Beanie, I like your hair. It's so soft."
