Elijah’s voice was low, steady and calm, but without looking back, Jake could hear the anger in his voice.
Ah, he had messed up; Jake thought as he slowly stood up and turned to face the other figure in the room.
“Ms. Crawford’s hair was troubling her, I was simply adjusting them so as not to disturb her sleep.” He informed, his tone just as professional as his words.
