CHAPTER 72 A TRACE.
Michael watched in horror as the car's tires screeched against the pavement, the men speeding off into the night with Madison slumped in the backseat. He launched himself out of his hiding spot, cursing under his breath as he sprinted after the vehicle, his feet pounding the pavement in a desperate attempt to keep up.
But the car was too fast, disappearing around a corner and vanishing into the maze of streets beyond. Michael skidded to a stop, his chest heaving as he bent over, his hands braced on his knees as he fought for breath.
He couldn't lose Madison, not now.
Michael fumbled for his phone, his fingers shaking as he swiped through the contacts to Asad's number. He jabbed at the screen with trembling fingers, the phone ringing and ringing before Asad's gruff voice answered.
" What Happened boss? What's going on?"
Michael's voice was raw with desperation. "Madison's been taken. The Koreans—they took her. We need to find her, Asad. We need to get her back, come to tge balcony
