CHAPTER FIFTY-FOUR
Ruby found the loud 'No' Noah said comical after Victor stated his optimum. She would have laughed if the situation wasn't serious or if she wasn't that tired.
Noah wasted no time grabbing her hand and leading her out of the hall after informing them that she would not stay with Jericho. A ferocious growl escaped his throat as his wolf was angered at the thought of his mate staying with another man.
Her wolf also protested inside her, but her eye immediately snapped to Noah when he called Isaac to follow him. His eyes held anger, and she was sure he would hit whoever mulled at the suggestion. She let him lead her out of the building, and the cool night breeze brought a sense of relief. Being in the room with the Elders' gawking eyes had kept her anxiety at an all-time high.
"Come on," Noah said softly as Isaac packed a car in front of the pack conference hall.
