Chapter Thirty Eight- Schemes and Misunderstandings
This time when Mia woke up, she had been down and feeling depressed.
It was only some time around the evening but Mia couldn’t get that message out of her mind. It had brandished itself in her inner eye.
‘I forgot. She’s dead.’
Mary Simmons was dead. Her one and only friend had been killed. Mary trusted Mia. The two were best friends. Mary had no idea she would get stabbed in the back by the hands of her own life long friend.
“Ugh.”
Mia slumped back into bed. Her hair cascaded all around her like a halo. Her pillow had been wonderfully fluffed and her stomach was full. Both with lovely food that her husband had cooked and also full with a little baby.
That’s when the guilt hit her full frontal. She was enjoying her life while Mary was six feet underground. Her and her baby had a double grave.
