CHAPTER 327: BROKEN HEART
George sprawled on the ground, drool gathered around his mouth, snoring loudly. He had been drinking heavily ever since he found out about Ryan and Lauretta getting close.
"George, come on, wake up. It's morning," the bartender called out, kicking George.
"Oh yeah?" George mumbled as he rolled lazily.
"Just give me a minute," he slurred.
After what felt like ages, George struggled to his feet. He lost his balance almost immediately, swaying from side to side before falling to his knees and grabbing the bartender's waist.
"Get off me, George," the bartender snapped, pulling away.
"Hey mate, what's wrong with him?" a new customer asked, entering the bar.
"None of your business. Just mind your own damn business, get your drink, and leave," the bartender replied sharply.
"Whoa, chill out. I was just asking," the customer said defensively.
"Yeah, right. You care so much. How about leaving my bar? It's early morning; no one drinks this early," the bartender retorted.
