"This is a beautiful coincidence," Brandon started, but Lauretta elbowed him into silence. Everyone, including Savannah, was waiting for Lorenzo to say something. But he still silently wore a shocked look.
"I don't know what to say," he finally admitted.
"I didn't know you two were brothers," Savannah said. "If I had known, I wouldn't have…" She paused and threw him a slightly nervous look. "I thought his last name was Gavon. That's why I didn't immediately piece everything together."
The awkward silence continued for a few more minutes before Lorenzo finally sighed and took her hand. "It's fine. As Brandon said, it's merely a coincidence."
"I’m really sorry about how tense the situation is right now," Stanley stated carefully, his eyes focused on Lorenzo and Savannah's interlocked hands on the table.
